WHat Swing Competitions will we offer???
JACK AND JILL
A fun leveled dance competition where dancers are paired randomly with a partner and get to show off their technique, teamwork and style.
Six Divisions: Newcomer, Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, All-Star, Invitational
STRICTLY
A fun leveled competition where dancers get to choose their dance partner. No choreography is allowed. Let loose and show off your spontaneity and creativity.
Three Divisions: Newcomer/Novice, Intermediate/Advanced, All-Star/Champ
MASTERS JACK AND JILL
Masters is a competition in which dancers age 50+ are paired randomly with a partner.
The competition will be divided into two groups: Group A – Newcomer, Novice and Intermediate
Group B -Open Division WSDC Points Awarded
GENERATIONAL STRICTLY
Generational Strictly is a competition in which dancers will sign up as a couple with an age difference of at least 20 years. (no divisional restrictions)
HIGH LOW JACK AND JILL
A fun competition where you are randomly paired with a dancer in another level. Show off your technique, connection, teamwork and creativity. Divisions: Intermediate or below paired with Advanced or above.
COUNTRY SWING/ DANCE HALL STRICTLY
A fun leveled competition in the style of Country Swing or Dance Hall where dancers get to choose their dance partner. No choreography is allowed. Let loose and show off your spontaneity and creativity.
Two Divisions:
Group A – Newcomer / Novice
Group B – Intermediate / Advanced
